Pat was born and raised in the south-central Pennsylvania town of Chambersburg, about a half hour west of Gettysburg. He grew up in a church going home and came to know Jesus at the age of 7 in revival services being held at his home church. It was at that same time that the Lord put a desire in his heart to be a pastor. Pat served three different pastorates in Pennsylvania for a total of 23 years and then helped to lead his former denomination for four years. During that time, he served as a church consultant and pastoral coach. He has held leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as a trustee for Huntington University for twelve years. In 2009, he came to Buffalo as the lead pastor of Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church and has served in that role since. He is a 1977 graduate of Chambersburg High School; 1981 graduate of Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana with a B.A. in Bible and Religion; a 1983 graduate of the Huntington University Graduate School of Christian Ministries with a Masters in Christian Ministries degree; and a 1988 graduate of Evangelical School of Theology in Myerstown, PA with a Master of Divinity degree. He and his wife Pam have been married since June 5, 1982. They have two children: Jalonna Krueger (husband Brian) and Justin (wife Janelle) and six grandchildren (Judah, Carter, Zoe, Janessa, Josiah and Charlie). Jalonna is the Global Missions Lead at Grace Church in Erie, PA. Justin serves as the Executive Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Strategic Ministry at Eastern Hills. His passion is to help people know Jesus and progress in their journey with Him. He also has a kingdom passion to see the church work together to see transformation happen in our community.
2021 Family Camp Youth Leader: Rev. Craig M. Lamos
Craig serves as the Family Ministries Pastor at Pulaski Wesleyan Church in NY. He is the son of Michael Lamos who grew up in Long Lake and frequently attended West Chazy during his growing up years. Craig has served the Nazarene church as a youth pastor and has a lot of experience with directing and participating in youth camping programs. Bio: I have been a Nazarene since 9 months before I was born, accepting my faith as my own in the sanctuary of Westminster First Church of the Nazarene at 4 years old during an Easter Cantata practice. From that day I have felt and expressed a call to ministry, which I have pursued and has been validated by the witness of family, friends, and mentors. While seeking my next ministry position in 2013, I worked full time at a factory, during this time I was reading through H. Orton Wiley’s “Christian Theology” and was convicted that I had been attempting to find God’s Will, without really pursuing God Himself. It was at this time I fully surrendered to God and have been surrendering ever since. On June 13, 2009, I married the love of my life, Rachel. She is my partner in life and ministry, encouraging me in my walk and ministry daily. On January 24, 2013 we welcomed our first born, Ezekiel, into our family. Almost four years later our second son, Noah, was born on November 6, 2016. A few months later we were surprised to discover that Rachel was pregnant with our daughter, Michaela, who was born on November 27th, 2017.
